St Swithun's Church, Kennington

St Swithun's Church has a detached churchyard, acessed from Sandford
Lane, at the southern end of the village. Although the churchyard is surrounded
by houses, it is a quiet and peaceful place, with several trees and bushes.
It is maintained through the combined efforts of the Parish Council and
members of St Swithun's Church, and is always open.
There are seats and a water supply (this is turned off during the winter
to prevent frost damage).
A book of remembrance is to be found at the back of the church. Any additions
or corrections should be notified in the book and they will be incorporated
when the book is next updated.
